Halloween 10-31-08

Halloween was spent pretty quiet around here. Carly had her friend Kaila over to help hand out candy. This was actually Carly's second Halloween outfit that she had on.

Homecoming Dance 10-18-08

Well tonight was Carly's very 1st Homecoming Dance. She looked beautiful and her date was pretty handsome as well. Things of course didn't go exactly as planned but it all turned out in the end. I just dropped a group of them off and the dance and can't wait to pick up Carly to hear all about the dance. So I will have to update you a little later on the good stuff...haha

So I took the girls out to take pictures of them for Christmas. Nikki just wanted to get them done and Carly could have cared less to begin with, but I think that I managed to get a couple that are really good. You would think that the older that they get the easier this would be...... not the case!!!!

Homecoming Parade 10-17-08

Well today was the annual Homecoming Parade. We celebrated 50 years of the parade. It was very cool. Carly was on the Freshman float and we actually had to turn people away from being on the float because there were way to many people..... Amazing... Nikki watched the parade and said that the Juniors were actually the loudest.... Oh well, the freshman are still learning... There's always next year.

Carly's 1st Powderpuff Football Game 10-15-08

Wow, was Carly's powderpuff game exciting. She was the kicker and she got to play quite a bit. Twice she tackled the opposing team and kept them from getting a touchdown. YEAH!!! She had a lot of fun and her team ended up winning 25-14. She had to keep the winning streak torch going. You see Nikki never lost her entire 4 years, so now Carly is carrying that torch on and she is doing a fine job to start.

Sisters Weekend in San Jose 10-11 and 10-12, 2008

Nikki invited Carly to spend the weekend with her this last weekend. So Saturday morning I met Nikki in Pleasanton to drop Carly off to her. They went back and Nikki took her around the college and then over to the dorms to meet Nikki's friends and some of their little sisters. After all of that they headed to the football game. They had a blast. Carly was extremely tired when I picked her back up in Pleasanton on Sunday. Long night and lots of fun.

So, this past weekend we held a Surprise 50th birthday party for my sister at my mom's house. It was a blast. Even though she wasn't surprised, we still managed to make the most out of the party (haha). We got to see a bunch of people that we haven't seen in a really long time. It was so good to see all of them. So just thought that I might embarass my sister just a little by putting some of her party pictures on my blog. Ok, so i want put the really embarrassing ones on there, but just know that I do have some really embarassing ones of her for future use.... Hope you all enjoy them as much as I have.
